We will post a message here when both a clear night and a volunteer are available to open the Observatory.

Where Have We Been?
We apologize for the absence of open viewing evenings now that we are finally getting a few clear nights - we just haven't had any volunteers available. We are presently doing some volunteer training; hopefully there will be some public viewing opportunities later in the summer.
Please tell me someone is available so we can see the eclipse. I'm getting concerned that its already August and we haven't been able to see the stars yet. This was one of our big desires to do at least once this summer.
Hello to you all. I just moved here, about a week ago. As I went for my first walk around the neighborhood last night hoping to catch a glimpse of NASA's decaying UARS satellite, low and behold I find I live about 300 yards from what looks to be a fairly nice telescope. I'm an aspiring astrophysicist, astrodynamic engineer and astronomer. I do have to admit though, I am somewhat of an amateur. I'm currently just a physics major entering my 3rd year. I love astrophysics, physics in general, and astronomy and would love to volunteer as much as I possible can. Please contact me at LiftedToyComa@gmail.com Thanks so much! =)
I have some children who are very interested in coming to see the telescope. I'm hoping that you will open soon.
ReplyDeleteWe too were hoping for a viewing this summer!
ReplyDeleteWhen will you guys be open again?

ReplyDeleteYa there's a bunch of us that want to come soon. Any further update?
ReplyDeleteReally disappointing.... My kiddies are so eager to see the stars from the observatory.... What do we need to do as followers....
ReplyDeleteWe are also very eager to visit the observatory and view the supernova. Hoping for an update. Seems like there is a lot of interest.
